This new golf competition took place on Wednesday 1st November during the next Mid Term break in Dunmurry Springs, Co. Kildare. The event was open to past and present teachers, both Ladies and Gents and to teachers and staff from primary, secondary and third level education.
The format of the competition was a 4 Person Team Event with a shotgun start at 11am. There were individual team prizes of €500 for the golfers and also prizes for the top 3 schools of €1000 in total on the day. This was a great opportunity for teachers to represent their school in a competitive environment against other schools as normally only the students have the opportunity to do this!
The event was sponsored by The Examcraft Group - leading supplier of mock examinations in Ireland.
