THE COURSE

Prepare yourself for an unparalleled golfing experience. Comfortably nestled in the heartland of Kildare, within the rolling hills and surrounds of the Curragh Racecourse and the townland of Rathanagan, Dunmurry Springs Golf Club will challenge you while providing a relaxing, picturesque backdrop. Test your accuracy with our fairways and water hazards; we have everything you need to challenge you and improve your game. Offering competitive green fee rates and excellent course condition all year round, you are assured of value for money in Dunmurry Springs.
The philosophy of designer Mel Flanagan was to give the golfer a chance to get into the game and course starts with a few generous Par 4's. The first birdie opportunity is on the 5th hole, a driveable Par 4 but with a tricky green. Every hole carries its own risk and rewards but with cunning and skill they are playable by all abilities. It is difficult to pick out a signature hole, so many have merit, but watch out for the lake fronted 3rd, the dog-leg par-5 6th the links-like 8th and tricky 9th, the watery splendours of the 10th, 13th, 14th and 15th, setting golfers up nicely for the challenging run down to the 18th.

The course provides an interesting mix of par threes, fours and fives, with multiple tee positions, generous and inviting fairways, strategically placed bunkers and immaculately maintained sand-based greens offering all year round play, this truly is a golfers course. From the 6th hole and the highest point on the course, golfers are blessed with the wonderful views and terrain of rugged Irish landscape and views of seven different counties in Ireland. These include Counties Kildare, Dublin, Laois, Offaly, Wicklow, Meath and Carlow.

Testimonials
"I really enjoyed the golf course I must say, it certainly won’t be my last time here. It’s not just enjoyable for professionals or better players, it’s somewhere that can be enjoyed by a wide range of players. The golf course has a great variance of holes, the 3rd Hole is one of my favourite holes, it’s not just a stand up and smash it golf course, you need to plot your way around it."
Colm Moriarty (Glasson Golf & Country Club)

"We as professional players are lucky enough to putt on some good greens, but I don’t think there were any greens in the Country as good as Dunmurry Springs today."  Jimmy Bolger (Kilkenny Golf Club)

"A super test of golf out there (Dunmurry Springs), you have to keep the ball below the hole, it’s an Augusta style golf, I love that type of golf – a fair test of golf. The scenery around the Par 5 there is spectacular and yes I would recommend the course to visitors - it’s well worth a visit."  David Higgins (Waterville Golf Links)
